We were down in Indianapolis for a showcase in Nov. 2003, and stumbled into a club where a guy named Will Hoge was playing. We were blown away by him and his band, and ended up talking and drinking with the guys. We listened to their disc on the way home, and Grant wrote this song a few days later, using a line from his song "Not that cool", and continuing the story...
